The LEGO Ninjago Movie is getting a game, out the same day as the film

The next game in the long-running line of LEGO titles will be based off of the upcoming LEGO Ninjago Movie.

If you’ve never heard of Ninjago, it’s an original IP created by LEGO focusing on ninjas. It’s become one of their best selling and most beloved internally developed licences, and it has been expanded into a movie to be released on 22nd September.

To coincide with this, there will be a videogame launched on the same day. It will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.

In other (unrelated) LEGO news an upcoming set has been announced in 10258: London Bus. This 1 686 piece set is modelled after the famous red busses from England.

An international release date of 1st August has been set, but when we’ll get it down here in South Africa is anyone’s bet, especially because big, desirable sets such as these have been extremely rare on our shores as of late.

No price has been set either, but we’re taking the educated guess of around R2 000 when/if it arrives here, more if the rand weakens further. More information about the set can be found on The Brothers Brick.
