Webafrica now offers fibre-like speeds with LTE at Home

For those that can’t enjoy the high-speed delight of fibre internet to their home, Webafrica has great news.

Today the firm is launching a new set of internet packages under the banner LTE at Home and as you might suspect from the name its a wireless internet solution.

“We are leading the charge with Fibre, but digging up pavements is a slow job with limited reach so we’ve found an attractive and more available alternative using Rain’s new LTE-A network,” Webafrica chief executive officer Tim Wyatt-Gunning said in a statement.

The big promise here is that users can expect speeds of 20 to 50Mbps.

The LTE at Home packages follow on below.

Data Cost per month Cost per GB
55GB R549 R9.98
85GB R799 R9.40
120GB R999 R8.33

While R9.98 is pretty good value for a gigabyte of data it’s worth keeping in mind that you will have to pay R2 249 for the initial setup which includes a Huawei B168 router, SIM card and delivery straight to your door.

There is also one more factor to keep in mind and that’s whether your area is covered by this super fast LTE-A signal.

You can check if your blanketed in the network over on Webafrica’s website and find out more about LTE at Home while you’re there.

You best hurry though; according to the Webafrica website this is a limited offer.
