A look back at terrible Duck Hunt games on the PC

One of our favourite YouTube channels, Lazy Game Reviews, is back with another one of his look back videos focusing on older PC titles.

The spotlight this episode is on Duck Hunt and its various copy cats available to PC gamers who did not have access to the NES back in the day.

From dodgy shareware games found at book fairs to a game that came as a bonus for buying a mousepad, there’s a load of strange software out there.

While some of the games featured in the video are not actual clones of the game Duck Hunt and are instead hunting simulations focused on ducks, it’s still a great look into an obscure realm of gaming.

You may have missed the importance of the mention of “HeadGames” mentioned in the video around the four minute mark. The now defunct publisher has been the bane of Lazy Game Reviews for some time now as the channel covers their library of sub par sports games under the “Extreme” label.

We suggest starting out with the most recent video below on “Snow Wave Avalanche” and moving backwards to Extreme WatersportsExtreme Boards & Blades and then Extreme Rock Climbing. It’s a wild ride or, should we say, extreme.
