On Monday evening Vodacom customers were horrified to learn that their airtime and data were disappearing.
Customers took to social media to voice their frustrations, some even accused the network of stealing their data.
#Vodacom is the government of data lol

“71MB gone in 1 min Vodacom, that’s a record,” said one user on Twitter.
When it was made aware of the issue yesterday evening Vodacom committed to refunding customers in full.
This morning the firm has said that a billing issue was responsible for data and airtime disappearing and that it was in the process of reimbursing customers.
All related out-of-bundle charges are being refunded and depleted bundles are reinstated. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience. 2/2

Reimbursements should be issued to customers throughout the course of the day.
