Has this credit card company leaked all of Apple’s new gear?

The hits just keep on coming for Apple ahead of its big reveal event this evening (local time 7pm).

First news arrived via a leaked version of an iOS update that Apple-heads could expect to see up to three new phones announced later today – the iPhone 8, the iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X. Rumours have circulated since that this leak was an inside job.

Now, credit card company Discover may have inadvertently blown the lid off several more announcement scheduled for this evening. According to 9to5Mac, Discover updated the ‘Deals’ section of its website last night, listing a bunch of Apple products that have yet to be officially revealed. They include not only the Phone 8, the iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X, but also a series 3 Apple Watch, new Apple TV and a 7th generation iPod Touch. Whoops!

Discover has since taken down the listings, but 9t05Mac have grabbed a screenshot of it, which you can see on their site. There’s no mention of any new iMacs or MacBooks in the listing, but hey, that doesn’t mean there aren’t any in the pipeline. Well, here’s hoping there are because the way things stand at the moment, it looks like Tim Cook may just come out on stage tonight and say “what the hell, you guys already know what we’re announcing, good night!”

That having been said, we at htxt.africa will be covering the Apple reveal event later on Twitter and writing it up shortly afterwards. Check back in to see if there’s anything at all you didn’t know was coming – although at this stage, we highly doubt it.
