Store and charge your HTC Vive with this 3D printed wall mount

We’ve seen a lot of 3D printed accessories for the PSVR in the past, and clever designs for the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift keep popping up.

This print by user Scotch Bunny not only creates a wall mount for the Vive headset and a pair of controllers, but it charges up the latter with aftermarket magnetic connectors.

To make your own, start with the free files off of Thingiverse, as well as as a few extra components listed in the description.

You’ll need: an extension cord, a USB adaptor, two charging cables and magnetic connectors of your choice. You can use any brand of these components you can find, as the links in the Thingiverse description lead to a Danish online store.

We’ve been told that the final print takes around 187 grams of filament, so plan accordingly. Once that’s printed, you’ll need to connect it to your wall and we’ll leave it up to you to decide how best to do that. The version in the gallery below is connected to a piece of wood to act as a base.
