Pinnacle and Commvault announce partnership

Leading ICT distribution company Pinnacle has announced a partnership that will assist it in providing customers with end-to-end solutions.

The partnership which has been struck is with data protection and management solution firm Commvault.

This partnership will allow Pinnacle Enterprise Solutions (Pinnes) to offer customers tailor-made ICT architecture to suit individual requirements or projects.

“Commvault has specifically been chosen to be part of the premium strategic turnkey solutions offered by Pinnacle through Pinnes. This partnership will therefore provide Pinnacle the ability to offer customers a
complete data management solution from the end point, to the data centre, to the cloud,” said Pinnes chief technology officer Johan Lötter.

Commvault district channel manager in South Africa Gerhard Fourie says that the partnership will allow the firm to enter previously untapped markets.

“Pinnacle have already established relationships with many of
Commvault’s alliance partners such as Huawei, Fujitsu, Supermicro and Nutanix. These synergies enable Pinnacle to offer bundled solutions to the market combining Commvault software with hardware products that are already proven to support it,” added Fourie.

Pinnacle has appointed Samantha Naicker as a dedicated product manager for Commvault. Naicker will facilitate all queries and business touch points as part of the partnership between the firms.
