Razer Phone specifications leaked online

Razer was going to announce something new, fresh and exciting tomorrow.

The suspicion was that ‘something’ was a new smartphone from the peripheral manufacturer and those suspicions seem to be bearing fruit.

UK retailer 3G has posted details about the Razer phone to its website. Whether this was a mistake is unclear as at time of writing the listing is still up on the 3G site.

Thanks to 3G we now know the Razer phone is not only real but it sports a 5.72-inch IGZO display with a 120Hz refresh rate. We’re not entirely sure if the world needs a mobile phone with a refresh rate that high but there it is.

The handset will also have Dolby ATMOS sound with dual front-facing speakers and amps certified by THX.

At the back of the handset you’ll find a dual camera setup with a 12MP f/1.75 wide angle sensor as well as 13MP f/2.6 sensor.

The battery is a 4 000 mAh affair which supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+.

Technically speaking we don’t know which chipset the Razer Phone will use but we do know it will have 8GB of RAM.

The Razer Phone then seems geared toward gaming but we’re going to have to wait until tomorrow for full details about the handset.
