EFF leader Julius Malema has alleged the the South African government has attempted to hack his emails.
Malema tweeted a screenshot of an alert he received from Google when he tried to log into his email account, and accused the “klepocratic state” of attacking him.

According to the alert, government-backed attackers attempted to steal Malema’s password.
Malema is yet to release an official statement on the matter.
