Standard Bank to showcase 54 innovative women entreprenuers from accelerators

Standard Bank will be hosting a showcase of over 50 women who are part of successful entrepreneurship programmes for its “Women Entrepreneurship Showcase” two-day event.

Hosted from Tuesday, 31st October to Wednesday, 1st November at the Standard Bank Incubator in Rosebank, the showcase will feature 54 women from the Lioness of Africa Accelerator and Women’s High Growth Accelerator, Liberty Blue Skies and Standard Bank Programmes.

The showcase kicks of with the Lioness of Africa Accelerator, which is aimed at improving the lives of South Africa’s women entrepreneurs and practically helping them to take their businesses to the next level.

Lioness of Africa entrepreneurs are groomed to do business with major corporates supply chains, such as Standard Bank, Liberty and the corporate clients within their networks.

On Wednesday it’s the turn of entrepreneurs who are part of the Women’s High Growth Accelerator.

This programme is organised in partnership with the Tumi Frazier Academy and co-sponsored by Liberty in a 12-week programme aimed at enhancing women’s core skills.

The showcase will run from 9:30 to 12:00 on both days.
