It’s a 3D print of the Futurama robot devil himself: Beelzebot

We’ve seen 3D prints of the main Futurama characters, and even the spaceship, so now it’s time to look at some of the minor characters.

The robot devil Beelzebot has received the printed treatment thanks to Aidan Ryan who based the design off of a previous creation of his – Roberto.

After around three hours of design work in AutoCAD and four hours of printing, Beelzebot was complete with limited articulation in the limbs. Some experimenting was needed to translate the 2D cartoon into a 3D model, but the experiance creating Roberto made this a bit easier.

The version you see in the gallery below was printed at 200% percent and stands at 15 centimetres tall.

If you’d like your very own Beelzebot, you can find the files to print him yourself over on Thingiverse.

When we spoke to Ryan he told us that you’ll need some super glue to put the pieces together and a dab of black paint for the pupils. The rest of the colour here was done by using the correctly-coloured filament to match the parts of the character.
