Radeon Technologies boss Raja Koduri is reportedly leaving AMD

After many years playing second fiddle to Intel and NVIDIA, AMD has been on something of a comeback in the last two years.

Now one of the folks responsible for that comeback appears to be leaving the firm entirely.

Head of AMD’s Radeon Technologies Group (RTG) Raja Koduri will be leaving the company according to a story on Hexus.net. The publication claims to have received access to an internal AMD memo through “well-placed sources”, which you can read at that link.

AMD has neither confirmed nor denied the news, so we’d advise you take it with a pinch of salt. Reports that Koduri will be heading to Intel from the likes of WCCFTech should be taken with the same seasoning until more news comes down the wire.

According to Hexus, AMD chief executive officer Lisa Su will oversee RTG for the foreseeable future, though a replacement is likely to be appointed in a few months.
