3D print of Tracer’s Pulse Pistol with the graffiti skin

With most of the base weapons from Overwatch having already been 3D printed, the maker world is looking at many of the alternate skins for inspirations.

Funbie Studios has created this full size prop of Tracer’s Pulse Pistol, as it looks when the graffiti skin is equipped.

We have been told by a representative at the studio that the final print measures in at 30 centimetres long and 20 centimetres tall. You’ll be needing a lot of filament if you plan to print out two of them for an appropriate cosplay.

Modelling time took around two days and printing out a single pistol took 40 hours.

The paint job is extremely accurate with the only missing elements being some of the finer stencilled words and details.

To make your own you’ll need the files from Thingiverse. Luckily, they’ve been sliced so you can make your pistol on almost any printer.

Finally, if you don’t have access to a 3D printer but you do happen to have a lot of LEGO around, you can use that too. Recently a complete tutorial has been made available which allows you to make the original Pulse Pistols completely out of plastic bricks.
