Vote in Gear of the Year 2017 and you could win a Dell 2-in-1 notebook worth R30 000

Another rotation around the sun is nearly complete and it’s time to decide on what the best tech of the year was.

This year was quite honestly a great year for technology.

Not only did we get some really great new components from the likes of Intel and AMD but consumer tech has never been more exciting what with the launch of great smartphones from Samsung, Nokia, Huawei and Apple.

Of course we can’t make the decision on what is the best ourselves which is why we need you, but things will be a bit different this year.

Usually we run one Gear of the Survey but this year we’ll be running two surveys at the same time.

Consumer and SMME

Scroll to the bottom of this page and you’ll see our regular Gear of the Year voting form but scroll a bit further and you’ll see another survey: The Gear of the Year SMME.

Over the last year we’ve noticed an uptick in small businesses looking for tech guidance and want to pool the knowledge that small business owners have so that resellers and distributors can better gauge what folks are looking for now and in the future and that’s why your votes are important.

Two surveys, one special prize

We have a very special prize for one person that answers either the Consumer or SMME (or both if you feel like it) surveys.

Complete the surveys and you will stand a chance to win a Dell 2-in-1 notebook worth R30 000.

And for those of you looking to find what notebook it is good luck.

The notebook in question has yet to be released in South Africa and you will be among the first in the country to own it.

We would like to thank our sponsors Tarsus, Dell South Africa and Microsoft South Africa for making this year’s Gear of the Year surveys possible.

Now get to voting, you have until 30th December.
