Fans of the Disney channels on DStv can now get their fix from the house of mouse on the go.

Multichoice has announced that Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior will all be available to stream through DStv Now from today.

“We’ve been focussing on expanding our DStv Now service to mirror the service our customers get when they are at home – adding the Disney family of channels to DStv Now brings us closer to that goal,” said general manager for DStv Digital Media Graeme Cumming.

The DStv Now service is described by Multichoice as “like having a DStv PVR in your pocket”. DStv Premium, Compact Plus and Compact customers are able to go online and stream content to their heart’s content.

Up to four devices per DStv account can be registered to allow for DStv Now streaming.

DStv also announced a number of shows Disney fans can catch over the December holidays including The Lion Guard, Mickey and the Roadster Racers and LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures.

“We’re delighted to offer this to our customers over the holiday period, so they can keep the kids entertained on long road trips, and when they visit family and friends,” added Cumming.

DStv Now is available for both Android and iOS devices.
