While LEGO does make an official set of the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, it’s almost three thousand pieces and comes with a hefty price tag to match.
Luckily, South African builder Wayne de Beer has created an alternative in this tiny replication of the set, using just 67 relatively common pieces.
The parts list and instructions are embedded below, and there’s a few options to add more detail. Four of these printed pieces can be used for the turbines, and some stickers work well to add the yellow lines to the runways and the S.H.I.E.L.D. logo to the base.
Both of those can be found as official stickers from LEGO itself, but you can always find something online and print it out, attaching it with glue.
BrickLink is the third party alternative that requires a bit more work for cheaper pieces.
Wayne de Beer’s name may be familiar to those who frequent our site, as he’s made several other builds in the past, also released with instructions for anyone to follow.
A big thanks to de Beer for continuing to provide these resources to copy his excellent work, and for giving us permission to host the instructions here on htxt.africa.
