There are some documentaries that you can’t tear yourself away from no matter how terrible the subject matter.

One producer of documentaries such as these is VICE.

Whether its a look at former cannibalistic warlords in Liberia (not for sensitive viewers) or teens partying in a war zone VICE takes a look at subjects many might stray away from.

The latest report from VICE takes a look at the US one year into Trump’s presidency.

The report focuses on key promises made by Trump in the run up to the election and whether they have been delivered on or not. It makes for compelling viewing and even better – you can watch it for free online.

Perhaps the most startling thing the report touches on is the amount of misinformation that people have taken as fact. The claim that immigrants are trying to change the “demographics” of voters for instance will likely leave you wondering just how prevalent fake news and misinformation is.

Naturally this is just one perspective but VICE does a good job of getting comment from both Trump supporters and detractors.

If this 45 minute report doesn’t satisfy your craving for documentaries we highly recommend checking out the Netflix Original series Dirty Money where President Trump has entire episode dedicated to him.
