Dying Light celebrates its 3 year anniversary with more free content

Aside from being an excellent game, Dying Light has enjoyed some of the best post-launch support for any non-multiplayer game we’ve ever seen, and that support continues as the game passes three years since launch.

This was announced in a trailer (embedded below) which quickly goes over the community which helped the devs add content to the game over the years before going into what’s planned in the coming weeks.

Throughout February there will be “a series of anniversary surprises”, with a community event called Undying Love, in-game shop discounts and free items too.

At the very end of the video it also mentions that there will be more Dying Light news later in 2018. The most obvious guess would be a sequel, but we also wouldn’t be surprised with by a new expansion either.

If you’ve never played this game we highly recommend it. The game is on sale right now and we suggest picking up The Following: Enhanced Edition with all the DLC. It’s going for R230.98 right now.

If you need a quick primer on Dying Light: it’s your standard zombie apocalypse affair with some of the most satisfying melee combat out there, paired with parkour, a terrifying night mode and an expansion that adds a more open world and more vehicles.
