Good news for anybody that wanted to attend Devconf 2018 in Johannesburg but found tickets had been sold out – additional tickets have been made available.

The organisers of Devconf this afternoon announced that 80 more tickets have been made available.

The one day conference is held annually in Cape Town and Johannesburg and aims to inform developers of the tools available to them to help tackle current and future challenges in South Africa particularly in the realm of software development.

Sadly tickets to the Cape Town conference have already sold out.

Devconf 2018 will take place on 27th March in Johannesburg and 29th March in Cape Town.

Tickets for the Johannesburg event will cost you R2 393 a piece but there is 5 percent discount when purchasing five or more tickets. For an even greater discount when ordering 10 or more tickets you will knock 10 percent of the total price.

Tickets are available through Quicket and you can find out more about the conference on the Devconf website.

And if you can’t make the event htxt.africa will be there on the day bringing you coverage.

Last year the conference’s opening keynote was presented by Terri Burns who offered some interesting perspective on software development and bias.
