Jengo devs turn to crowdfunding to make the game a reality

South African developers Robot Wizard are in the final stage of development and need crowdfunding to help make their game Jengo a more ironed out affair.

The team has partnered with Fig – a crowdfunding platform created by Tim Schafer and friends – to secure the last bit of funding needed to pay for voice talent, musicians, artists and programmers.

Robot Wizard needs 400 “backstage backers” to receive the full support of Fig and its marketing muscle. From there the team’s chance of reaching its funding goal are improved substantially as it will be more visible to other investors.

“If you are a fan of Jengo and want to support local game development, we are putting our wizard hats down to the ground to ask South Africa for help,” wrote the Robot Wizard team.

In return for your money the team has exclusive pledge rewards for backstage backers at different levels including – oh wait, we aren’t allowed to share any of that stuff with you because it’s marked as confidential.
