Tinder’s Feed feature will help you get to know your matches better

Tinder, an app that is great for practicing swiping and not much else, has rolled out its Feed feature to all users today.

From today all users will find a new option in their matches labelled ‘Feed’.

Described as a way to “spark conversation with the people you want to meet most” Feed offers users a bit more insight into their matches.

“From recent Tinder photos, to Top Artists and Anthems, Feed takes you beyond “It’s a Match!” and helps you make a real connection, instantly,” says the firm behind the app.

Users will also be able to send their match a message regarding a specific update.

These updates can include your new favourite music artist on Spotify (provided you’ve linked the two apps) and photos that you add to your Tinder profile.

Naturally this all needs user input and given the experience I have had on Tinder where countless profiles don’t even contain a bio this just feels like another “Moments” play from Tinder.

Moments – if you’ll recall – was Tinder’s answer to Snapchat that was scrapped in 2015.

Feed feels similar to a Facebook Timeline only it can only be seen by your matches.

Perhaps Feed will be a hit with users I for one am not hanging around to find out.
