How to get two free screen replacements for your Samsung Galaxy S9

The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ landed in South Africa last week and while its sleek lines and gorgeous screen will take your breath away, so will cracking said display.

For this reason Samsung offers customers two free screen repairs over twelve months (limited to one repair every 12 months) under its Samsung Mobile Care service.

“We know that life happens and no matter how careful you are with your phone, screens can break, even though we’ve integrated Super AMOLED glass screen and phones are far more robust now,” Samsung’s director for Africa services said in a statement.

Samsung Mobile Care is free and is available to owners of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8, S8, S8+, S9, and S9+ devices.

To register for the service users need to download the Samsung Rewards App from the Google Play Store. Once you have registered your account a Samsung salesperson will contact you to explain the product and confirm that cover is required.

Now for the sticky bit, you have to do this process within 30 days of purchasing your device.

Once you are registered however you can contact the Samsung service centre on 086 072 6786 to book a repair at a service partner or using one of Samsung’s Mobile Repair vans which come to your home or office to repair the handset.

You can also contact the service centre to get help with setting up your new handset.
