League of Legends 3D printed again with this Sejuani flail

Despite its popularity, we see very few 3D prints from League of Legends created by the maker community, but now we have this impressive flail to add to the short list.

This weapon is a recreation of the one used by Sejuani with the Dawnchaser skin. Maker Greg McClement is responsible for the project, telling us that modelling took around 10 hours to complete in Fusion 360.

With that finished printing time came in at 19 hours for all the parts. This was split into six hours for the blades, 12 hours for the centre beam, and a final seven hours for all the handle parts.

Painting was relatively straightforward with grey paint on top of black ABS. The one outlier being the ball in the middle of the blades, which was printed in white and painted blue.

If a League of Legends flail is something you need in your life, you can find the files to print it on Thingiverse.

Aside from filament and paint, you will also need to buy a chain to join the 3D printed pieces together, The one you see in the gallery below was bought from Home Depot for $2, and you can choose a length to suit your needs.

With this relatively short chain the entire flail measures in at 33 inches (838 millimetres).

And if flails aren’t your thing, Katarina’s daggers have also been turned into a print.
