Watch everything on black this weekend without using data

Cell C’s own entertainment service black has some great news for anybody looking for entertainment this coming Easter weekend.

From midnight on 29th March to midnight on 2nd April customers on the Cell C network will have all data streamed through black zero-rated. That means you could watch everything on black without depleting your data.

“We know that for many South Africans, getting access to content means that they need to use data. As a holiday treat, we are taking that worry away, giving people a chance to experience the content black has on offer without using data,” Cell C chief executive officer Jose Dos Santos said in a statement.

The promotion is open to existing customers but new customers can take advantage of black’s free seven-day trial to test the service out for free. Of course you will need a Cell C sim to be able to have your data zero-rated.

Customers using black can stream fashion TV, football or rent movies (at an additional but reasonable fee) such as the Oscar winning Get Out or the remake of The Mummy.

Pricing for black starts at R10 a day but as we mentioned there is a free trial available which is perfect if you’re looking for some free entertainment for the forthcoming long weekend.

You can sign-up for that free trial here.
