Epson is bringing 12 new projectors to SA in May

Projectors are a really fantastic pieces of kit for anybody that wants to turn a wall into a TV and let’s face facts, who wouldn’t want to do that?

Today Epson has informed us that it will be bringing as many as 12 new projectors into South Africa and they will be available from next month.

Consumer sales manager at Epson South Africa, Timothy Thomas, says that the projectors cover a wide range of applications including business and home use.

“With expansive displays reaching up to 3000 inches, the large screen size is matched by its quality with Epson’s 3LCD technology making the display up to three times brighter than competitor products,” said Thomas in a statement.

The firm says that its 3LCD technology will insure better picture quality even in sunny rooms. This is impressive to say the least, the only reason we don’t watch Santa Clarita Diet on a projector all day is because of that darn sun.

Anyway, what can we expect in May?

For home users Epson will be bringing in the Epson EH-TW610, EH-TW650, EH-TW5400, EH-TW5600 and EH-TW5650. These projectors include features such as lens shift, miracast and built-in Wifi.

We’re really excited about the detail enhancement and frame interpolation in the Epson EH-TW5400, EH-TW5600 and EH-TW5650 projectors. The company promises movie lovers reduced motion blur which means smoother and sharper images. We’d love to see how this projector handles gaming.

For business users the Epson EB-S05, EB-X05, EB-W05, EB-U05, EB-S41, EB-X41 and EB-W41 will also be available from May. These projectors include features such as built in Wifi as well as a range of resolutions to suit your needs.

There’s no word on pricing just yet but we’ll be sure to update you when that information comes through.
