Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is coming to the Switch

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus will be released on the Nintendo Switch on 29th June of this year.

The console port of MachineGames’s really rather good FPS from 2017 is being handled by developer Panic Button, although the original developer has been overseeing the proceedings. According to a release from Bethesda, the Nintendo Switch port will be the full fat “uncensored, award-winning story and signature gameplay.”

If you want to see what the game looks like on Nintendo’s console, have a gander at the trailer below:

If you’ve not played Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, it’s well worth picking up a copy. Set in an alternate historical timeline in which the Nazis won World War II, the game follows the adventures of one BJ Blazkowicz and his attempts to organise a resistance movement to rid the United State of jackbooted fascists.

While players can expect the usual collection of satisfying firearms, Nazi dismemberment and flying chunks of meat, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus takes a peak into the Blazkowicz’s past and gives some insight into why the man has such a hard-on for killing Nazis. We played it when it was first released and really rather enjoyed it.
