A day ticket for rAge 2018 will cost you R150

Ticket prices for the rAge Expo 2018 have been announced and if you were expecting prices to remain the same as they were last year, prepare for disappointment.

Tickets for one day at the rAge Expo will set you back R150, up R30 from last year.

While it’s not the biggest increase in price we are wondering what exactly the main drawcard will be this year.

The VS Gaming Masters finals were usually held at rAge but they have been moved to Comic Con Africa thanks to VS Gaming’s partnership with Reed Exhibitions for that event. In addition, the Entelect Challenge finals will also be hosted at Comic Con Africa this year.

A weekend ticket which gives you access to all three days of the expo remains the same at R300.

There is also a change in how you buy tickets. For the last few years attendees bought tickets through TicketPro, this year you’ll have to head to Computicket to buy tickets.

There is no word on pricing for the NAG LAN however and we hope that Computicket has beefed up its services from the old days. Previously, those wanting to LAN were met with disappointment as Computicket’s servers crashed under the weight of SA gamers clamouring to get a ticket. We’ll see what happens later this year.

Tickets for rAge Expo 2018 go on sale on 1st May 2018.
