The Xbox One X is available in South Africa again

South Africans have been waiting a long time to get their hands on the Xbox One X, but it’s finally in stock again, at least with Raru.

The online retailer has a listing for the console, including three months of Xbox Live, for R7 799.

There’s no mention of how many units are available to buy, but if you’ve been waiting a while to get yourself one you may want to move fast.

Takealot also has a listing for the same bundle at the same price, but it is labeled under “shipped in 4 to 6 working days”, so they may not have stock at the warehouses just yet.

Online retailer Loot doesn’t seem to have it available at all, and brick and mortar stores BT Games seems to be in the same boat. When we phoned one of their branches, however, we were told to ask again on Friday, so maybe more consoles are on the way.

The One X had something of an early bird launch in the country late last year with an initial batch being sold quickly. We’ve been waiting for months for this second batch to be made available, with local distributor Prima Interactive telling us that delays on imports that they had no control over were to blame for the wait.
