Get an Xbox One S for R3 999 ahead of the FIFA World Cup

Distributors of Xbox in South Africa, Prima Interactive, have given local gamers a sizeable and tempting discount on the newer Xbox One S console.

From now until 8th June you can pick up an Xbox One S 1TB, a second wireless controller, and a copy of FIFA 18 for the low price of R3 999.

That is a really good deal especially when you consider a standalone Xbox One S 500GB retails for the same price.

A free game is also nothing to scoff at given that FIFA 18 currently retails for around R1 000.

Players will also be able to download the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia update for FIFA 18 when it goes live on 29th May.

“This expansion pack lets players choose one of 32 qualified nations to live out their FIFA World Cup dream and write their own history from the group stage to the final in Moscow in Online friendlies and Online Tournament modes,” writes Prima.

With E3 just around the corner now might be a good time to get in on the console action if you haven’t yet. Then again we could see a swath of new consoles being announced in June, but at R3 999 and the ability to play games like Monster Hunter World, State of Decay 2 and Far Cry 5, it’s hard not to recommend taking the plunge.

Keep on eye on your favourite online and physical stores for this bundle.
