Telkom has revealed that the latest Nokia smartphones will be made available through a variety of FreeMe packages.
The Nokia 1 and Nokia 6.1 (which we recently reviewed) will be available from today – 20th June – while the Nokia 7 Plus will be out from 20th July.
The Nokia 1 is an entry level handset which features the lightweight Android Go operating system that doesn’t eat up storage capacity. The Nokia 6.1 is very mid range but it sports an impressive 16MP camera at the back of the handset.
While not available yet, the Nokia 7 looks to be a flagship that follows on from the strong showing seen with last year’s Nokia 8. At the back you’ll find a 12MP and 13MP sensor within the dual lens snapper.
All of these handsets are available through Telkom on its FreeMe contracts. Prices include the cost of a SIM card and connection fees. All contracts are for a period of 24 months.
