Namco Museum Arcade Pac arriving on the Switch in September

In today’s edition of a product name doubling as a pun, Namco Museum Arcade Pac will be available on the Nintendo Switch on 28th September this year.

As the name suggests this single title is a double pac(k) of existing software bundles, those being Namco Museum and Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus.

Those who prefer physical Switch games should be happy to see that this release will be receiving one. There’s a listing on Amazon for $39.95 (~R550)  which features some great cover art, which you can see in the header image above.

If you, like us, get the unfortunate notice on Amazon that “this item does not ship [to your country]”, it should be in local stores around the time of release, but you’ll have to check your preferred retailer for regional pricing.

Given the generally high price of Switch games locally – both digital and physical – we have doubts that we’ll be paying only R550 once it’s available here.

While we can’t seem to find an official list of games included in the Namco Museum Arcade Pac, we can combine those from the two included titles.

Going off of the trailer, we doubt we’ll be seeing any additions outside of the following:

  • Dig Dug
  • Galaga
  • Galaga ’88
  • Pac-Man
  • Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus
  • Pac-Man Vs.
  • Rolling Thunder
  • Rolling Thunder 2
  • Sky Kid
  • Splatterhouse
  • Tank Force
  • The Tower of Druaga
