Rumoured Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 surfaces in new leaked pics

Samsung appears to have a new tablet in the works, with a handful of leaked images for a new device surfacing on Android Headlines.

The tablet’s name is unknown, but all indications point to it being the latest Tab S4 from the South Korean manufacturer, although the company has not mentioned anything about an upcoming offering.

That said, if we’re going on the 12-month refresh cycle that Samsung likes to use for its devices, then the Galaxy S tab lineup is due.

Adding credence to it being the Tab S4 is its design, which looks a lot like its predecessor, featuring the same 4:3 aspect ratio and relatively “thin” bezels around the display.

Interestingly, it seems like Samsung is still reluctant to port its bezel-less or Infinity Display (18.5:9) design aesthetic to larger devices like tablets, despite it being a mainstay on the Galaxy S and Note smartphones for the past couple of years.

For now, only a general idea of what the Tab S4 may look like is known, with no additional information on the internal specifications that the device will be sporting.

The only extra detail is an AKG logo appearing on the back of the tablet next to the Samsung insignia, which means the Tab S4 will likely have a good audio setup for watching movies or videos.

With IFA 2018 in September the next big consumer tech conference on the calendar, perhaps Samsung is saving a full reveal of the Tab S4 for the Berlin-based event.
