Monster Hunter: World for PC finally has a release date

We’ll be honest, we had lost faith that Monster Hunter: World would ever make it to PC this year but we were proven wrong last night.

Having already launched on console at the tail-end of January, PC players have been patiently waiting to slay beasts and dress up Palicoes. Monster Hunter: World will finally hit PCs on 9th August.

As you might be able to tell from the video above, the platform of choice for distribution of the title is Steam where you can pre-order the game.

We must admit that the game is rather pricey at R999 for the base version even though you also get the Origin Armour set and a Fair Wind Charm.

If you want the Deluxe Kit DLC which appears to contain cosmetic items you can pre-order that for R1 163.72. That’s a lot of damage.

The minimum and recommended specs for the game follow on below.
