Earlier this year ardent supporter of flannel, Ben Brode resigned from his position as Hearthstone’s game director at Blizzard.
The move sent shock waves through the Hearthstone community. Okay perhaps we’re exaggerating here but Brode was one of the more exuberant members of the Hearthstone team and he was adored by the community.
Upon leaving Blizzard the big question was what Brode would be doing and we finally got an answer – he’s started a new company.
The new venture goes by the name Second Dinner and it was announced via a tweet which yielded no information. “No details just yet – but we’ll post ‘em here when we got ‘em,” reads a tweet from the firm.
So excited to announce our new company! https://t.co/maUXx5qOgE

The former game director will take up the title of chief creative officer at Second Dinner.
Brode will be joined by former Hearthstone executive producer Hamilton Chu according to a report by PC Games N.
While we now know what Brode will be doing between the hours of 9am and 5pm what exactly Second Dinner will be making remains to be seen.
The company is currently calling for job applications over on it’s website so it’s unlikely we’ll see games coming from it anytime soon.
That said, we’re not opposed to being surprised by news of a game from the mind of Brode.
