Ten of James Bond’s cars to be featured in Forza Horizon 4

A slew of desirable new cars are will be included in Forza Horizon 4 thanks to the “Best of Bond Car Pack”.

As you may have guessed by the name, its focus will be on vehicles that have appeared in the 007 franchise, with half of them being Aston Martins.

Announced yesterday in an official Microsoft blog post, this will be a day one DLC for the game when it launches on 2nd October, though we can’t find a price for the pack alone right now.

Those who splurge on the more expensive Ultimate Edition of the game will get access to the Best of Bond Car Pack as it is the “Day One Car Pack” that is included in the bundle. A bit confusing, we know.

Here’s the list of 007 cars included:

  • 1964 James Bond Edition Aston Martin DB5
  • 1969 James Bond Edition Aston Martin DBS
  • 1974 James Bond Edition AMC Hornet X Hatchback
  • 1977 James Bond Edition Lotus Esprit S1
  • 1981 James Bond Edition Citroën 2CV6
  • 1986 James Bond Edition Aston Martin V8
  • 1999 James Bond Edition BMW Z8
  • 2008 James Bond Edition Aston Martin DBS
  • 2010 James Bond Edition Jaguar C-X75
  • 2015 James Bond Edition Aston Martin DB10

Aside from being able to drive these iconic vehicles, there’s extra content included too.

Some of the cars will feature a “film-inspired gadget” viewable in the Forzavista viewing mode. The 1977 Lotus Esprit S1 will have a body kit inspired by its submarine mode, and the 1964 Aston Martin DB5 has revolving number plates and expanding bumpers.

Speaking of the DB5, it was recently turned into an impressive LEGO set where those features are present in brick form. It’s a bit odd that there’s so much 007 cross promotion going on right now without a film on the horizon, but we’re not complaining.

As for the final feature included in the pack, there are three James Bond outfits (we assume for the driver model, though that isn’t explicitly stated) together with six quick chat phrases.

Unfortunately we can’t seem to find any actual pictures or video of this content in action, so we assume it’s being saved for the launch day.

Those wanting to try out the game before that time can play the demo, which launched yesterday.
