Pricing for the Apple Watch Series 4 starts at R7 999

Last week Apple revealed three new iPhones and the Apple Watch Series 4.

This being an “s” year for Apple the phones didn’t excite us all that much but the Watch Series 4 did.

Rather than being an extension of your phone on your wrist the Apple Watch Series 4 is much more focused on your health than memes from your friends.

The iStore in South Africa has now revealed pricing for the wearables and they are rather pricey.

The 40mm Watch Series 4 will set you back R7 999 while the larger 44mm Watch will cost R8 599.

The retailer has said the wearables will also be available on the FNB Credit Card Plan. For those who decide to purchase the Watch that way expect to pay R329 per month for the 40mm and R357 per month for the 44mm. Both contracts are over a 27 month period.

iStore is also offering customers up to R2 400 cash back for their existing Watch which eases the blow of dropping R7 999 on a wearable slightly

The Apple Watch Series 4 will be available from 28th September (the Nike+ version is available from 5th October) but pre-orders open on 21st September.
