512GB Samsung Galaxy Note 9 now available in SA for R25 999

Here’s some important news for any flagship smartphone user that places a premium on storage. The 512GB version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is now available in South Africa.

The new 512GB variant is notable (excuse the pun) for a number of reasons, with it being the largest onboard storage capacity that Samsung has equipped a smartphone with to date. It also bumps up the RAM to 8GB, which is two more than the normal Note 9.

Added to this the microSD slot on the Note 9 also caters for an additional 512GB, which brings the grand total of storage to 1TB.

“The 512GB Note9 is a powerhouse that takes storage to unprecedented levels. The release of this model will undoubtedly be welcomed by those who want a smartphone that goes well beyond the norm. It is designed for a new era of productivity”, explains Justin Hume, director: Integrated Mobility at Samsung South Africa, in a press release about the announcement.

Along with confirming the 512GB Galaxy Note 9’s local availability, Samsung Mobile South Africa has also provided recommended pricing for the device at R25 999. In terms of colour options the 512GB model will only be sold in Ocean Blue for now, which features the new S S Pen stylus in bright yellow.
