Mobile subscriptions are devilishly annoying especially if you’ve forgotten to cancel them.
Now, we are aware that there are instances where folks never signed up for these services in the first place yet receive messages claiming they had.
Are those messages scams? We don’t know but today the Wireless Application Service Providers’ Association (WASPA) has shared a few tips with us so that you can see what services you are signed up for.
Firstly scan your inbox. Look for any messages saying which mobile services you are subscribed to. Secondly, monitor your monthly statements or pre-paid balance for anomalies and lastly, check with your service provider.
That last point is perhaps the easiest but we understand if you don’t want to make a call to your mobile network and be put on hold.
In light of that WASPA shared some shortcuts to help you find out what mobile services (if any) you are subscribed to.
