Official merchandise from the popular battle royale / building game Fortnite is due to land in South Africa later this year.

This is thanks to a partnership between local distributor Megarom Interactive and the developer of Fortnite, Epic Games.

For many of our players, Fortnite is more than just a game – it’s a reflection of their personal style,” Epic Games co-founder Mark Rein said in a statement.

Megarom understands gaming culture and the Fortnite brand, and they’re the perfect partner to bring this Fortnite collection to South African players,” Rein added.

At the end of November Megarom will make official Fortnite t-shirts, hoodies and sleepwear available from select retailers.

Which retailers is not exactly clear but we’ll be sure to update you when we know more.

“We are excited to announce the partnership between Epic’s Fortnite and Megarom,” said Megarom Interactive founder and CEO, Philip Court.

The exact date of release is still unclear but you can check out some of the merch that will be available locally in the gallery below.
