Local pricing for the all-new MacBook Air starts at R21 499

The MacBook Air (MBA) has been one of Apple’s best-selling devices, and arguably their most important notebook to date, which makes it a good thing that the company finally decided to refresh the MBA with a newly specced model a couple of weeks ago.

At the time no word was mentioned about when the wedge-shaped notebook would be landing locally, or indeed how much it will cost. The latter has changed though, with local iStores listing the pricing for the 2018 MacBook Air.

Unfortunately though, the latest range of MBA’s are listed as being on back order, which is understandable given how popular the model has been for Apple.

Nevertheless we can still run through the local pricing for the different specs of 2018 MacBook Air.

The notebook is only available in a 13″ display format, with said screen featuring Apple’s Retina technology.

You can, however, opt for either the silver, space grey or gold colour options. Added to this is an Intel i5 dual-core 1.6GHz processor for all the different models listed, with the key aspect being the onboard storage on offer with both 128GB and 256GB available.

As for pricing, it starts at R21 499 for the 128GB model and increases to R24 999 for the 256GB variant.

For a further break down of the pricing, see the table below.

Now the only thing left to do is wait and see when the back order status ends.

MacBook Air Silver (13″) Intel Core i5 dual-core 1.6GHz 128GB R21 499
MacBook Air Space Grey (13″) Intel Core i5 dual-core 1.6GHz 128GB R21 499
MacBook Air Gold (13″) Intel Core i5 dual-core 1.6GHz 128GB R21 499
