Local streaming platform black has revealed its Black Friday special rather early.

Starting on 23rd November through to 31st December, South Africans can sign up to black Binge Elite for R89 per month rather than the usual fee of R449.

For that price you get access to a number of series, movies, music and documentaries across 60 linear TV channels, eight Fox channels and Fox on Demand.

The subscription fee does not include movie rentals.

“This is by far one of our biggest discounts ever, we wanted to make sure that our customers do not only get the best deal on the biggest shopping day of the year but enjoy a discounted deal until the end of this year,” PR manager at black, Precious Nkabinde said in a press statement.

Customers that take up the offer will pay R89pm for a period of 12 months so long as they:

  • Take up the offer between 23rd November and 31st December
  • Don’t cancel your subscription
  • Don’t default on your subscription fee

black is available on Android, iOS and any browser. Cell C customers will have streams on black zero-rated until February 2019.
