Batman: Arkham Collection is a $60 game available on Xbox One right now

After some rumours Larry Hryb / Major Nelson has confirmed the existence of the Batman: Arkham Collection – a combo pack of the most complete versions of Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and Arkham Knight.

More so than that, it’s available to buy right now for a rather ridiculous $60 (~R840). Those of us in South Africa get it even worse as the localised pricing is R929.

For your money you’re getting all three games complete with all their DLC, but we really don’t think that’s worth the money when each title has been on sale over the years for just a few dollars each.

While the train wreck that was Arkham Knight is less than four years old at this point, it is the newest title here and charging so much for the three games seems like a bad deal for consumers to us.

The listing for the game does have Xbox One X Enhanced support, so maybe we’ll be seeing 4K batman shenanigans for those with the top tier Microsoft console under their TVs.

We don’t see any mention of a PlayStation 4 version of the Batman: Arkham Collection, but we’re sure that will be announced soon.

The final slap in the face here is the fact that Arkham Origins has been left out of the collection. The reason for this is that this combo is intended to bundle together the Rock Steady games, but adding in this fourth title would have done more to justify that high price.
