iStore SA offering free coding to Grade 3-9 learners on 7th & 8th December

This week marks the Global Hour of Code (3rd to 9th December), where organisations and people across the world are encouraged to help learners and students get access to, or exposed to coding.

Trying to do its part locally is iStore South Africa, with all of theretail locations in the country getting in on the action on 7th and 8th December this week.

iStore South Africa will be holding multiple one-hour long sessions on both days, with the focus on learners in Grade 3 to 9. There is one caveat though, with learners requiring their own iPad in order to join the free coding sessions.

Those who have an iPad and are interested in attending one of the free sessions also stand the chance to win one of five tickets for the iStore’s Think Ahead FutureSpace holiday camp.

Local iStores offering the sessions include Mall of Africa and Sandton Drive in Gauteng, as well as Cavendish and Tyger Valley in the Western Cape, along with Gateway in KZN and Walmer in the Eastern Cape among others.

To sign up for a session on the 7th head here, and for the 8th click here.

Remember that space is limited, so the sooner you sign up the better.
