Despite launching some time ago, Wizards of Waverly Place is a cult classic that can still be enjoyed today. Kids will get a kick out of seeing a younger Selena Gomez playing wizard-in-training Alex Russo. Fittingly, she gets her own musical numbers in many episodes.
While the Marvel Cinematic Universe is an epic tale featuring dozens of movies and days worth of watch time, the Marvel cartoons on offer here are easy to jump into at any point with three different sets of characters to watch: Ant-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy and, of course, Spider-Man.
Disney offers their selection too with Doc McStuffins being a continually popular choice for pre-schoolers, as is Mickey Mouse and co speeding around in The Roadster Racers. Star vs The Forces of Evil and LEGO Disney Frozen both offer lessons in female empowerment that are simply magic.
