The release of Resident Evil 2, one of the first major game releases of 2019, is just around the corner and Capcom is giving us a sneak peek at the game by way of a demo.
This piece of software is rather interesting in that it isn’t a slice of the final game as you might expect.
Bearing the title of “1-Shot Demo” players will be tasked with surviving “the horrors of Raccoon City” for 30 minutes. Complete the mode in 30 minutes and you can go for another round, fail and you can try to start over, but if you use up all 30 minutes you won’t be able to try again.
Upon completion of the 1-Shot Demo, players will be treated to an exclusive trailer for Resident Evil 2. Unlike the demo, the trailer can be viewed multiple times.
The 1-Shot Demo will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and on PC via Steam. It’s available available from 11th January through 31st January.
The remade Resident Evil 2 will be released in full on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on 25th January.
