As one of the most reviled games of 2018, Fallout 76 is still being nursed by publisher Bethesda into a product people can feel slightly less bad about paying for.
To that end, everyone who bought and played the game in 2018 is now entitled to the Fallout Classic Collection on PC.
This collection consists of: Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel. While the collection is for PC, this offer is available even to those who played Fallout 76 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
To get your free games you just need to log into the Bethesda Launcher on PC using the account which owns Fallout 76, and the collection should be in your library waiting to be downloaded.
This news comes in a blog post from Bethesda which also outlines some fixes to 76.
With the price of the game steadily dropping every week we’ve still got our money on the title becoming free to play before it is a year old. With Doom Eternal and Rage 2 coming out later this year, we’re sure this change will come ahead of one of these titles to buy some goodwill with the community.
