FNB customers reaping benefits from recent The Entertainer partnership

The start of 2019 is proving to be a fruitful time if you’re an FNB customer, and especially so if you like deals.

In just two weeks since announcing a partnership with the wildly popular The Entertainer subscription service, FNB says that more than 60 000 of its regular and RMB Private Bank clients have registered for the service. Adding that 10 000 deals have been redeemed to date.

“This is a value-added service which makes our customers’ money go further. We recognise the unstable economic conditions we live in, where our customers are forced to be frugal when it comes to leisure activities. This exciting partnership with The Entertainer allows our customers to enjoy doing the things they love doing whilst making the most of their budgets,” explains eBucks Rewards CEO, Johan Moolman, on the offering’s recent popularity.

Part of the reason for the vast number of sign-ups is the fact that The Entertainer, which normally costs an annual fee of R495, is being offered to FNB and RMB Private Bank customers for free for the duration of 2019.

A partnership of this ilk could also be the start of something more for FNB, with the financial institution noting that it will actively be exploring more subscription-based services to partner with over the course of the year.

For those FNB customers who have not registered for The Entertainer yet, but are intrigued by the prosepect, you can access the service via your FNB mobile app. You’ll need to select The Entertainer app icon under the eBucks Rewards tab and follow the on-screen prompts.
