Caffeine brings together a collection of games for a new Humble Bundle

A new week means a new Humble Bundle, but the one this week doesn’t have a theme tying it together by a publisher or genre like most others.

Instead this bundle seems to have been put together by Caffeine – a social media site centred around game streaming. We’ve not heard of the site before now which may be because it looks to be in a pre-release state at the moment. Being the name behind a Humble Bundle is an odd way to market a service, but we are talking about it right now so who are we to argue?

As for the game selection it’s rather lack lustre. The big ticket name here is the beloved but depressing This War of Mine. The big hitters in the top tier – Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun and Tyranny – are a bit of a niche set of inclusions too.

The game we put the most time into on this list is Gonner which is an interesting little roguelike that failed to hold our attention in the first few hours we played it. If you’re interested in it and the other titles in the first two tiers, this may be a good way to try it for yourself.

The default good causes are Take This and charity:water. The offer for free World of Warships DLC for signing up to the Humble Bundle newsletter is still available.
