Assassin’s Creed III Remastered lands 29th March

We’re still crawling our way through the vast world Ubisoft created in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, but there’s more stealth slaying on the horizon for fans of the series.

Anybody that purchased the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Season Pass will recall that it included a second game – Assassin’s Creed III Remastered – and that game finally has a release date slated for 29th March.

We’re going to be completely honest in telling you that we weren’t fans of the story that was told in Assassin’s Creed III. Perhaps it’s because we’re not all that clued up on US history and the only folks we really recognised (aside from Washington) was Paul Revere. We did enjoy sailing a ship though.

All of that having been said it has been a good few years since we tore through Red Coats as Connor and the Remastered version looks rather pretty. Take a gander at the comparison video Ubisoft released.

It does look gorgeous and we are interested to give this a try if only to see how much Assassin’s Creed games have changed.

We’re still very much enthralled with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and we highly recommended giving it a play.

The remastered game will include all of the post-launch DLC as well as Assassin’s Creed III Liberation Remastered.

Assassin’s Creed III Remastered is out on 29th March for PC, Xbox One and PS4. As we mentioned, anybody that has purchased the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Annual Pass will be able to download both remastered games on the day at no additional charge.
