Leaked promo image shows new Galaxy Buds wireless earphones

Samsung is unveiling its trio of Galaxy S10 smartphones to the world on 20th February, and we’ve already seen all manner of leak for the upcoming devices, but what about accessories?

Well it seems like the leakers have not let us down in that department either, with WinFuture “stumbling” across a promotional image for a new pair of wireless earphones that are reportedly being dubbed the Galaxy Buds, which you can see above.

Of course Samsung has not commented on the leak just yet, but the company releasing a new set of premium wireless earphones alongside the Galaxy S10 makes a lot of sense, especially as the audio industry has seen a number of wireless options hit the market of late.

Unfortunately there are no finer details on the Galaxy Buds, such as whether they’ll be smart and feature some sort of gesture or voice control, or perhaps even have Bixby integration.

We’re also in the dark as to the specifications of the buds, and whether audiophiles will be pleased with the quality of sound on offer.

What is being rumoured, however, is the fact that the Galaxy Buds can be wirelessly charged via the Galaxy S10, akin to the reverse charging feature that Huawei debuted last year with the Mate 20 Pro.

If the impending release of wireless earphones alongside the S10 have you worried the phone won’t feature a 3.5mm headphone, rest easy as Samsung has confirmed the port has remained in place for this upcoming iteration.

With more than a week to go until the first Galaxy Unpacked of the year, we’re sure more info and images will surface between now and then.
